DICs (District Industries Centre) program was started in 1978 by the Central Government of India. The main objective is to provide a focal point to promote tiny, micro, cottage village industries like small business ideas in a particular area to avail all necessary services and facilities to the entrepreneurs in one place.
If you are intended to start a micro, small and medium enterprise, DICs will provide all the services and support facilities to you, including identification of suitable schemes, preparation of feasibility reports, arrangements of credit facilities, provision of machinery, equipment, raw materials and development of industrial clusters, etc. DICs cater to the Promotion of MSMEs too.
